The 57 acres of grapes include Vinifera, French-American hybrids and Labrusca varieties. The Vinifera varieties include 16 acres of Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlot grapes. The 18 acres of hybrids include Aurora, Cayuga White, Baco and Seyval grapes. The 13 acres of native Labrusca varieties include Concord, Niagara, Catawba and Delaware grapes. In addition to the wine grapes, there are 10 acres of outstanding seedless varieties, the red Vanessa and Einsett grapes and the green Himrod grapes.

The vineyards run north to south to take the greatest advantage of good air and water drainage. The prevailing winds are from the south west and the special lake conditions have helped to earn this area's nickname the  “Banana Belt”. The vineyards, which are on Honeoye Loam soil,  are well maintained and show excellent growth and production. There is a gentle slope towards the lake which makes for easy equipment work.
